This website

unseen.cv is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics of its own — the only outside call it makes is to check the latest extension version and to hand off the download. Standard web-hosting logs may still exist at the hosting layer (GitHub Pages), outside our control; see GitHub's own privacy statement for that.

The extension, once installed

The extension sends small, anonymous usage events to our API (api.unseen.cv) so we can tell which features are used and catch what's broken. Each event carries:

installId

A random identifier generated on install. Not your Snapchat username or ID.

token

Present only if you hold a license — links events to that license, not to you personally.

event / properties

A feature name and a small set of properties, e.g. which setting was toggled and whether it's on. Never message text, snap content, or chat contents.

occurredAt

When the event happened, on your device's clock.

ip

Recorded by the server for every request, as most APIs do.

We don't collect message content, snap content, your Snapchat credentials, or your contacts — the modules that touch those (auto-save, exports, media saving) keep that data on your own device. We don't sell usage data. If you'd like more detail or want your data removed, email dev@lixqa.cc.

Terms

Unseen is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Snap Inc. or Snapchat, which remains Snap Inc.'s trademark. It's an independent, beta-stage tool provided as-is, with no warranty — expect occasional bugs, and know we're not liable for data loss or account issues arising from its use. Using it may violate Snapchat's own Terms of Service and risk account action; that trade-off is real, and it's yours to make.
